SEC Finalizes Regulations on Tax Deductions for Conservation Contributions by Partnerships and S Corporations

The SEC has released final regulations on a provision of the SECURE 2.0 Act of 2022, which disallows certain tax deductions for conservation contributions made by partnerships and S corporations after December 29, 2022, if the contribution exceeds 2.5 times the relevant basis of the contributing partner or shareholder.
