USDA to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Caribou National Forest Thinning Project

The US Department of Agriculture's Forest Service plans to thin timber stands in the Goodenough and Mormon Canyons of the Caribou National Forest in Idaho to improve vegetation health and reduce wildfire risk, as trees are growing too close together and competing for resources.
