US Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Timber Proposal in Routt National Forest, Colorado

The US Department of Agriculture's Forest Service plans to release an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in June 1999 to assess the environmental effects of a proposal to harvest timber in the Morrison Creek area of the Routt National Forest, with a final decision expected in September 1999.
