Coast Guard Temporarily Closes Rock Island Railroad and Highway Drawbridge on Mississippi River

The Coast Guard is temporarily closing the Rock Island Railroad and Highway Drawbridge on the Mississippi River from December 28, 1998, to March 1, 1999, to perform annual maintenance and repair work due to winter conditions and lock closures upstream and downstream from the bridge.
