Increased Corn Donation for Overseas Countries in 1999

The US President and the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) have decided to donate 400,000 metric tons of corn to overseas countries in 1999, an increase from the initial 350,000 metric tons. This decision is made under Section 416(b) of the Agricultural Act of 1949, as amended.
