Commodity Credit Corporation Issues Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for Reduced Wheat, Feed Grains, Rice, and Upland Cotton Payments

The Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) is seeking public comment on proposed rule changes to Production Flexibility Contract payments affected by farmers planting prohibited crops, such as fruits or vegetables, in violation of the 1996 Federal Agriculture Improvement and Reform Act.
