Motor Vehicle Content Labeling

This document proposes to amend the regulation NHTSA issued to implement the American Automobile Labeling Act. That Act requires passenger motor vehicles to be labeled with information about their domestic and foreign parts content. Congress recently amended that Act to make a number of changes in the labeling requirement. This proposal would make the regulation consistent with those changes.
