NHTSA Amends Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard on Lamps, Reflective Devices
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has amended the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard on lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment to allow manufacturers of vehicles with headlamp concealment devices to choose between U.S. or UN/ECE standards, following a petition from the motor vehicle industry and a lack of public comments.
