FAA Issues Airworthiness Directive for Dornier Model 328-100 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive (AD) requiring Dornier Model 328-100 series airplanes to revise their Airplane Flight Manual to use the electrical fuel pump for take-off and landing, and perform an operational check after landing. The directive aims to prevent failure of the jet booster pumps, which could lead to reduced engine thrust and increased risk of impact with terrain.
