Proposed Establishment of Class E Airspace; Ellenville, NY

This notice proposes to establish Class E airspace at Ellenville, NY. The development of a new Standard Instrument Approach Procedure (SIAP) based on the Global Positioning System (GPS) at Joseph Y. Resnick Airport, Ellenville, NY, has made this proposal necessary. Additional controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) is needed to accommodate the SIAP and for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations to the airport. The area would be depicted on aeronautical charts for pilot reference.
