Aerospace Safety: FAA Issues Airworthiness Directive for Aerospatiale Model SN-601 (Corvette) Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive requiring repetitive inspections and repairs for Aerospatiale Model SN-601 (Corvette) series airplanes to prevent corrosion, cracking, or rupture of aileron balance weights, which can lead to reduced controllability of the aircraft.
