Airbus Issues Airworthiness Directive for A320 Series Airplanes to Replace Mounting Rack and Install New Wiring Harness

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has issued an airworthiness directive requiring Airbus Model A320 series airplanes to replace the existing mounting rack for the Digital Flight Data Recorder (DFDR) with a new rack having improved damping and install a new bracket for re-routing the wiring harness to prevent data loss during flight.
