Boeing Issues Airworthiness Directive for 747-100, -200, -300, SP, and SR Series Airplanes

Boeing has issued an airworthiness directive requiring the installation of shielding and separation of electrical wiring in the fuel quantity indication system to prevent electrical transients from causing arcing and potential ignition of fuel tanks.
