Proposed Amendment of Class E Airspace; Beaver Falls, PA

This proposed rule would amend Class E airspace at Beaver Falls, PA. The development of a new Standard Instrument Approach Procedure (SIAP), Helicopter Point In Space Approach based on the Global Positioning System (GPS), and serving the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Heliport, Aliquippa, PA, has made this proposal necessary. The intended effect of this proposal is to provide adequate controlled airspace for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations to the heliport. The area would be depicted on aeronautical charts for pilot reference.
