FAA Revises Class E Airspace at Nome, AK to Support GPS Approaches
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has revised Class E airspace at Nome, Alaska, to accommodate the establishment of GPS instrument approaches at runways 2, 9, and 27. This change aims to provide sufficient controlled airspace for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations at Nome International Airport (KNO), which is served by Alaska Airlines (ALK) and other carriers.
