Schweizer Aircraft Corporation and Hughes Helicopters, Inc. are proposing a new airworthiness directive to address issues with the bond line between the main rotor blade abrasion strip and the blade, as well as the adhesive bead around the abrasion strip, to prevent loss of control of the helicopter.
