Austria Issues Airworthiness Directive for HOAC-Austria Model DV-20 Airplanes with ROTAX 912 A3 Engines

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive requiring replacement of the engine electronic modules on certain HOAC-Austria Model DV-20 airplanes equipped with ROTAX 912 A3 engines to prevent electromagnetic interference, which could lead to loss of control of the airplane.
