FAA Amends Class E Airspace at Poughkeepsie, NY to Support GPS-Based Instrument Approaches

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has amended Class E airspace at Poughkeepsie, NY, to provide adequate space for instrument flight rules (IFR) operations at Sky Acres Airport, following the development of Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAPs) based on the Global Positioning System (GPS).
