Proposed Amendment to Class E Airspace; Laurel, DE

This notice proposes to amend the Class E airspace area at Laurel, DE. The development of new Standard Instrument Approach Procedure (SIAP) based on the Global Positioning System (GPS) at Laurel Airport, DE, has made this proposal necessary. Controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) is needed to accommodate the SIAP and for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations at the airport.
