Airworthiness Directive Amendment for McCauley Propeller Systems Propellers

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for McCauley Propeller Systems Models 2A36C23/84B-0 and 2A36C82/84B-2 propellers, aimed at preventing potential cracks in the propeller blade threaded retention area from progressing to blade separation, which can result in loss of aircraft control.
