EPA Proposes Changes to Federal Acquisition Regulation to Remove Certification Requirements for Government Contracts

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council are proposing to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation to remove Subpart 23.1, 52.223-1, and 52.223-2, which will enable the Environmental Protection Agency to provide more up-to-date information on facilities involved in criminal Clean Air Act or Clean Water Act violations, potentially impacting government contract awards.
