Eight Electric Companies Agree to Merge in $13 Billion Deal

Eight major electric companies, including Atlantic City Electric Company, Baltimore Gas & Electronic Company, and Public Service Electric & Gas Company, have agreed to merge in a $13 billion deal, creating a new entity to serve the Mid-Atlantic region.
