US Department of Homeland Security Increases H-2B Visa Cap for Second Half of FY 2022

The US Department of Homeland Security is temporarily increasing the H-2B visa cap for the second half of Fiscal Year 2022, allowing up to 35,000 additional visas for non-agricultural workers with start dates between April 1 and September 30, 2022, for businesses experiencing irreparable harm. This is in addition to the 20,000 visas authorized in January 2022 for start dates before March 31, 2022.
