FCC Proposes Updates to 2 GHz Mobile Satellite Service Regulations

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is proposing to update the regulations for the 2 GHz Mobile Satellite Service (MSS) by incorporating the rules for this service into a Notice of proposed rulemaking (Notice). The FCC is seeking public comment on policies for the 2 GHz MSS and service rules, with the goal of simplifying and harmonizing the rules for satellite services in the 1.6/2.4 GHz and 2 GHz MSS bands.
