Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service Extends Contract Renewal Period for Eligible Schools and Libraries

The Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service has amended its rules to allow eligible schools, libraries, and rural health care providers to extend or renew their existing contracts without competitive bidding, giving them more time to access discounted services through June 30, 1999.
