FCC Waives Rules on Settlement Agreements in Contested Licensing Cases

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has issued a 90-day waiver of its rules on settlements in contested licensing cases, allowing parties to resolve certain proceedings without restrictions on the consideration involved, effective April 16, 1999.
