FCC Amends Rules for GPS Correction Data and Aeronautical Radio Spectrum Use

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted a Report and Order to update its rules regarding the use of 112-118 MHz for GPS correction data and hand-held transmitters on frequencies in the Aeronautical Enroute Service, aiming to enhance aircraft and airport safety, and more efficiently utilize the aeronautical radio spectrum.
