Truth-in-Billing and Billing Format

This document seeks comment on whether several of its truth- in-billing requirements should apply to wireless carriers, and what uniform labels should be used to identify line-item charges resulting from federal regulatory action. This document derives from our order adopting truth-in-billing requirements, released jointly, establishing common-sense billing principles to ensure that consumers are provided with basic information they need to make informed choices among telecommunications services and providers.
