FCC Announces Effective Date for Local Broadcast Ownership Rules

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has set November 16, 1999, as the effective date for filing requirements related to local broadcast ownership rules, which will replace conditional waivers with permanent license grants and require licensees with local marketing agreements to submit copies of the agreements by October 18, 1999.
