FDA Proposes New Labeling Requirements for Aluminum in Parenteral Nutrition Products

The FDA is proposing to add labeling requirements for aluminum in large and small volume parenterals used in total parenteral nutrition, aiming to reduce the risk of morbidity and mortality among patients, particularly premature infants and those with impaired kidney function.
