US Department of State Receives Application for Presidential Permit for Pipeline Across US-Canada Border

The US Department of State has received an application from the City of Sumas, Washington, to construct and maintain a 12-inch diameter pipeline spanning approximately 4,100 feet across the US-Canada border, connecting the City of Sumas' water system with Abbotsford, British Columbia.
