Notice of Proposed Individual Exemption to Amend and Replace Prohibited Transaction Exemption 97-35 Involving Amalgamated Bank of New York

The Department of Labor is proposing an individual exemption to replace Prohibited Transaction Exemption 97-35, which allows the Amalgamated Bank of New York to provide banking services to 22 employee benefit plans affiliated with the Union of Needletrades, Industrial and Textile Employees, effective July 1, 1995, with a revised effective date for certain investments.
