Grant of Amendment to Prohibited Transaction Exemption PTE 97-35 for Amalgamated Bank of New York

The Amalgamated Bank of New York has been granted an amendment to its individual administrative exemption PTE 97-35, which allows the bank to provide banking services to 22 employee benefit plans affiliated with the Union of Needletrades, Industrial and Textile Employees, the majority shareholder of the bank.
