Exemptions Issued by the Department of Labor from Prohibited Transaction Restrictions

The Department of Labor has issued exemptions from certain prohibited transaction restrictions under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) and the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the Code) for various health insurance companies, including Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Arizona, Inc., and DISH Network Corporation, among others, effective as of March 2023.
