EPA Issues Appliance Labeling Rule for Energy Efficiency Disclosure

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a new rule requiring manufacturers of certain home appliances and products to disclose energy consumption and water use information on product labels. This rule, known as the Appliance Labeling Rule, is mandated by the Energy Policy and Conservation Act.
