FTC Establishes New System of Records for Identity Theft Complaints

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is creating a new system of records to handle complaints from victims of identity theft, as mandated by the Privacy Act of 1974 and the Identity Theft and Assumption Deterrence Act of 1998.
