USDA Amends Assessment Rate for Domestically Produced Peanuts

The US Department of Agriculture has lowered the administrative assessment rate for peanuts handled by individuals not under Marketing Agreement No. 146, which regulates the quality of domestically produced peanuts, effective for the 1997-98 crop year and beyond.
