SEC Approves Rule Change for Forward-Starting Repos, Allowing for Early Netting and Guaranteed Settlement

The Government Securities Clearing Corporation has received approval from the SEC to implement a proposed rule change that enables forward-starting repos to participate in early netting and guaranteed settlement before their scheduled start date, starting from January 1, 2024.
