US Government Proposes Amendments to Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act Regulations

The US government has proposed changes to regulations implementing the Paul Wellstone and Pete Domenici Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008, aiming to prevent plans from limiting access to mental health and substance use disorder benefits more than medical/surgical benefits, and to collect data on the impact of these limitations.
