EPA Approves Maine's General Conformity Rule for Clean Air Act Implementation

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the State of Maine's revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) to implement the General Conformity rule under the Clean Air Act, allowing the state to enforce federal air quality standards at the local level.
