EPA Approves Revised DOE Plan for Pesticide Applicator Certification

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a revised Department of Energy (DOE) plan for certifying pesticide applicators, effective immediately. The revised plan, which was submitted on June 23, 1997, replaces the original 3-year certification interval with a 1-year interval and adds a new category of wood treatment.
