US Allows Importation of New Fruits and Vegetables from Certain Countries

The US Department of Agriculture has lifted restrictions on importing certain fruits and vegetables from countries such as Israel and Chile, subject to inspection and special conditions, to increase the variety of produce available while maintaining protection against plant pests.
