DOL Proposes Updates to Exemptions for Executive, Administrative, Professional, Outside Sales, and Computer Employees

The Department of Labor is updating the Fair Labor Standards Act exemptions for executive, administrative, professional, outside sales, and computer employees, increasing the standard salary level to the 35th percentile of weekly earnings and the highly compensated employee total annual compensation threshold to the 85th percentile of full-time salaried workers.
