Maine Human Rights Act Meets ADA Standards, Department of Justice Proposes Final Certification

The Department of Justice has determined that the Maine Human Rights Act meets or exceeds the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 requirements, and proposes to issue a final certification that can be used as rebuttable evidence in enforcement proceedings.
