U.S. Department of Labor Announces New Minimum Wage Rate for Federal Contractors Covered by Executive Order 14026

The U.S. Department of Labor is increasing the minimum wage rate for workers performing work on or in connection with federal contracts covered by Executive Order 14026 to $17.20 per hour, effective January 1, 2024, eliminating the lower cash wage for tipped employees.
