The U.S. Coast Guard is setting up a restricted area to safeguard people, buildings, and boats from potential dangers caused by heavy machinery and falling objects during the Interstate 5 bridge repair project on the Columbia River in Vancouver, Washington. The safety zone will be in effect from September 16, 1997, at 5 a.m. to October 8, 1997, at 1 p.m.
