DEA Authorizes State and Local Law Enforcement Officers as Task Force Officers

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has finalized a rule allowing state and local law enforcement officers to be deputized as Task Force Officers, while also authorizing federal law enforcement officers to work on title 21 drug investigations under DEA supervision.
