Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for DoDPI Relocation to Fort Jackson, South Carolina

The Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission recommended relocating the Department of Defense Polygraph Institute (DoDPI) from Fort McClellan, Alabama to Fort Jackson, South Carolina, which will increase the base's population and student load. An Environmental Assessment (EA) evaluated the relocation's effects on existing resources and identified Site B as the preferred construction site due to its low habitat value.
