EPA Grants Conditional Approval of Maryland's Air Quality Plan for Baltimore Ozone Nonattainment Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by the State of Maryland to reduce emissions in the Baltimore area by 15% and meet Clean Air Act requirements.
