National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program to Cover New Vaccines with Revised Excise Tax

The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program will cover three new vaccines, with a revised excise tax of 75 cents per dose, following the signing of the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997 on August 5, 1997.
